The bill (H.J. Res. 44) to REPEAL Biden\u2019s unconstitutional pistol brace rule is in peril.<\/p>\n
Republicans POSTPONED today\u2019s House Judiciary Committee vote on H.J. Res 44 after Democrats plotted to hijack the process to politicize the recent tragic shooting in Nashville.<\/p>\n
We cannot allow the anti-gun lobby to pressure Republicans into delaying the vote on this critical bill even further \u2013 or even worse, canceling it altogether!<\/em><\/p>\n Instead, we should capitalize on this delay by urging Congress to actually DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM by passing additional legislation REPEALING gun free zones and arming teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n This is by far the most effective way to deter would-be mass shooters. No mass shooting has EVER occurred during school hours where armed teachers are present!<\/strong><\/p>\n Last year, Rep. Thomas Massie introduced H.R. 7415, which would have allowed willing teachers to carry firearms in schools.<\/p>\n Because Rep. Massie sits on the House Judiciary Committee, he can easily take language from that bill and offer it as an amendment to any must-pass bill.<\/em><\/p>\n We need YOU to contact your Representative in the House right away. Depending on what party your Representative is, you\u2019ll send them a different message:<\/p>\n If they\u2019re a Republican, you\u2019ll urge them to hold a vote on H.J. Res. 44 as soon as possible and support an amendment to STOP future mass shootings at schools by arming teachers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If they\u2019re a Democrat, you\u2019ll condemn them for exploiting the death of children to push their anti-gun agenda and urge them to change course by supporting H.J. Res. 44.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Please add your name to our pre-written letter to your Representative right away.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n ADD YOUR NAME \u00a0>><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Once again, anti-gunners are ignoring the facts, politicizing violence, and punishing law-abiding gun owners like YOU for the actions of an unhinged lunatic.<\/p>\n The irony is that if anyone other than the shooter is to be blamed for these tragic events, it\u2019s Joe Biden himself.<\/p>\n He introduced and passed the Gun Free School Zones Act, which DISARMS teachers and leaves them completely defenseless against depraved mass murders.<\/p>\n Once again: Where there are armed teachers in schools, there has NEVER been a shooting during school hours, much less a public mass murder.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Time and time again, mass shooters specifically choose \u201csoft targets\u201d like \u201cgun free zones\u201d because they\u2019re less likely to encounter any resistance while they commit their heinous crimes.<\/p>\n In fact, the Nashville shooter originally considered another target, but opted not to shoot people there because the place was more heavily guarded.<\/span><\/p>\n Biden\u2019s Gun Free School Zones Act hasn\u2019t worked for 3 DECADES.<\/p>\n It\u2019s time to stop blaming a tool (the firearm) and start empowering law-abiding parents and teachers to defend children from the murderers responsible for these atrocities.<\/p>\n Over 81% of police believe that armed teachers and staff are the best way to stop school shootings.<\/p>\n If Democrats really wanted to help protect children, they would REPEAL Biden\u2019s Gun Free School Zones Act and arm parents and teachers.<\/strong><\/p>\n Instead, they\u2019ve once again decided to exploit the death of children to push their anti-gun narrative and try to derail our efforts to repeal Biden\u2019s pistol brace ban.<\/em><\/p>\n Let\u2019s make sure Congress doesn\u2019t fall for their hysterical fear mongering.<\/p>\n
