Washington, D.C. \u2014 Today, the\u00a0Gun Owners Foundation<\/a>\u00a0(GOF) celebrates forty years of defending Americans\u2019 Second Amendment rights in the Courts. GOF serves as the sister organization of Gun Owners of America (GOA), a national nonprofit grassroots lobbying organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the Second Amendment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Over the last four decades, GOF has:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n GOF\u2019s FOIA requests have uncovered damning activity at federal agencies, including the\u00a0ATF\u2019s partial gun registry which comprises nearly 1 billion firearm transaction records<\/a>, as well as the\u00a0FBI\u2019s Self Indices NICS form, which was illegally created<\/a>\u00a0to allow Americans to sign away their Second Amendment rights.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Currently, GOF has several legal cases pending in federal and state courts, including challenges to the\u00a0Biden Pistol Brace Ban<\/a>, the\u00a0Biden Ghost Gun\/Frame and receiver Rule<\/a>, the misnamed\u00a0New York Concealed Carry Improvement Act<\/a>, and\u00a0Oregon Measure 114<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n GOF also runs a student-based education group,\u00a02A Defenders<\/a>, that works to educate college students about the text, history, and tradition of their Second Amendment, and they also have just started a new educational show,\u00a0Bullet Points with Dan Wos<\/em><\/a>, to discuss the key issues facing the Second Amendment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Erich Pratt, the Senior Vice President of GOF, issued the following statement:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cGOF\u2019s mission laid out by our founder H.L.
