The Senate passed Sen. Blake Miguez\u2019s Constitutional Carry Bill SB 1<\/a> by a vote of 28-10<\/a> and limitation of liability bill SB 2<\/a> by a vote of 27-11<\/a>. Both bills now move to the Louisiana House where they will be heard in committee on Monday, February 26, with SB 1 being heard in the Administration of Criminal Justice Committee at 10:00 a.m., and SB 2 being heard in the Civil Law and Procedure Committee at 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n Take action and urge the committee members to SUPPORT Constitutional Carry!<\/strong><\/p>\n SB 1 restores the ability of law-abiding gun owners, 18 years and older, to carry a concealed handgun in Louisiana without a permit, while SB 2 limits civil liability against individuals with a Louisiana concealed handgun permit who are forced to use their handgun in self-defense.<\/p>\n Again, please take action and urge the committee members to SUPPORT your constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms! <\/strong><\/p>\n In Liberty,<\/p>\n Joshua S.
