Congress is trying to sneak in violations of the Second Amendment right under our noses. The House of Representatives has passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a national defense bill with a misleading \u201cvoluntary safe storage pilot program.\u201d The bill will now go to the Senate.<\/p>\n
\u201cSafe storage\u201d is just another venue \u00a0the government can use to poke its ugly head into your home. Otherwise, how would they know if you were complying?<\/p>\n
Locking up your guns will only help criminals who want you to be delayed in your ability to protect yourself. These rules and regulations will eventually be made mandatory if the gun controllers get their way.<\/p>\n
Even worse, the anti-gunners want to experiment with our nation\u2019s most adamant defenders first, those in the military.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s time to let Congress know that the armed forces are not a political petri dish for them to conduct social experiments. Nor should a service member\u2019s inalienable right of self-defense be infringed.<\/p>\n
Gun owners have previously fought red flag gun confiscation that was snuck into the NDAA previously, and we won!<\/p>\n
We have done it before, and we can do it again.<\/p>\n
