Washington, D.C. \u2013 Late Friday, in a near identical case to Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Gun Owners Foundation\u2019s (GOF) challenge to the Trump-era bump stock ban, the full U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals\u00a0ruled against<\/a>\u00a0Attorney General Merrick Garland and blocked this illegal regulation. While the Supreme Court\u00a0declined to hear GOA\u2019s case<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year, the ruling today by the Fifth Circuit creates a circuit split, thereby greatly increasing the chance the high court will hear the case challenging the rule.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Erich Pratt, GOA\u2019s Senior Vice President, issued the following statement:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n This is very exciting news, and we congratulate Michael Cargill on this victory.
