Among the ideas presented was the concept of monitoring firearm purchases.<\/p>\n
Such an idea is not only impractical, but dangerous to our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.<\/p>\n
Further, law enforcement is also recommending monitoring social media accounts of gun purchases.<\/p>\n
In truth, law enforcement should be focused on stopping criminals, not playing \u201cbig brother\u201d on those who seek to protect themselves by buying a gun.<\/p>\n
I need you to take action and call Gov. Hutchinson at (501) 682-2345 and urge him that no form of gun control \u2013 including the monitoring of gun purchases \u2013 is a solution to school shootings. Instead, arming willing school staff will help prevent killings.<\/p>\n
Lame duck Gov. Hutchinson does not have the most stellar record on the Second Amendment, and therefore it is vitally important that he hears from you.<\/p>\n
Please don\u2019t delay. Call the governor at (501) 682-2345 and tell him no new gun control!<\/p>\n
